Israel was punished with invading armies and taken captive. God restored the nation, but the same thing happened to them when they rejected Jesus. They were dispersed throughout the world. In 1948 Israel became a nation again, and Ezekiel and Revelation show that Israel is going to be attacked again, during the great Tribulation. However, this time, God will intervene-in such a way that the Jews will see that Jesus is the Messiah. This is not a time for Christians to be backsliding. It is the time for all people to search out Jesus; not to be decieved by the spirit of the world and Satan.
