Remember the bumper sticker that said, "If you love Jesus, Honk!"? Then one came out that said, "If you love Jesus, Tithe, anybody can honk!" Ivan the Great was baptized with 5oo of his warriors into the Greek Orthodox Church....but when they went into the waters to be baptized, they had a problem...one could not be a warrior and join the Greek Orthodox church at that time...so they had the men hold their swords up in the air as they were immersed. History calls it, the "unbaptized arm." I wonder how many "unbaptized" checkbooks, bank accounts, conversations at work, etc. there are in the church today? Tithing is the acid test of Lordship....will you start today? Will you continue tithing?
