The Bible says there are four things a person must know to go to heaven

(1) All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God - Romans 3:23
This means that all of us have done something wrong...every single one of us!

(2) For the wages of sin is death - Romans 6:23
Our sin has earned a wage, and that wage is death or a complete separation from God. This separation would be called Hell!

(3) But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were  still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8
Even in our sin God loved us and sent Jesus 2000 years ago to die on the cross for us.

Philippians 2:11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

(4) For whosoever shall call upon the name the Lord shall be saved -
Romans 10:13
So taking Him, Jesus, as your Savior is the next step.
